Season Banners

This set of four banners representing the four seasons is a learning  schedule, with different skills presented in each banner. The project is an ideal opportunity to learn new techniques on a small scale, while at the same time re-enforcing the learning processes such as binding each Finished banner. There is some precise piecing, some needle turn hand appliqué, hand quilting and machine quilting.

There are some soft colours there are some vibrant colours sets but each reflect the season they represent.

The heart is a nod to Valentine's Day and of course there are the mad March hares, snowflakes falling leaves and flowers in full bloom.

Finished Size of each banner is 16" x 16"
