3D Snowflake Workshop
This is a quick fun make that has the look of something quite complicated. Using gorgeous Christmas fabrics and fusible web once you've made one we promise you'll catch the bug!
The class will focus on how to mark out and cut the design to create the stunning snowflake. Come along and learn this beautiful technique.

Advanced Piecing - Autumn Star Centre
The class will focus on how to complete the piecing to create this beautiful feathered star. Learn how to join Y seams accurately and how to best place your fabrics for effect. Come along and learn this wonderful technique.

Sashiko Technique
Sashiko is a traditional Japanese decorative reinforcement stitching or embroidery technique, often used to mend, reinforce and embellish garments. Traditionally using white thread on indigo-dyed fabric. Yvonne gives the technique her own spin using patchwork cotton and embroidery thread of all colours.
The class will focus on how to mark out and stitch these intricate designs. Come along and learn about this beautiful technique.

Advanced Machine Applique Technique - Winter House
This seasonally themed wall-hanging features a robin, rosehips, and snow on the roof. The wall-hanging uses layered 'stick and stitch' machine appliqué to create the scene.

Machine Applique Welcome Sign
These are quick fun wall hangings that create a warm atmosphere in any room or hallway.
There are full size templates for the letters and images, reversed where appropriate, ready for you to choose the fabric you want to create your own unique welcome sign. Choose between all four seasons, Halloween or Christmas.
The class will focus on how to complete the machine applique using fusible web and colour placement to create a beautiful wall-hanging. Come along and learn this wonderful technique.

Beginners Table Runner Course
A complete introduction to all things patchwork. Throughout the 5 week course Yvonne will walk you through everything from cutting and piecing to quilting and binding. A great way to learn the art of patchwork and quilting and leave with a new skill.

2nd Wednesday of each month, January - August 10-12:30
Village Sampler
Perfect for an improved beginner, this stunning quilt will show you different patchwork techniques. You will learn how to place colour, create log cabin and star blocks and create the beautiful applique centre. You will then move on to assembly, borders and quilting the sampler.

Class Cancellations
Here are the boring bits, if we need to cancel a class we will issue you with a full refund, or you may transfer your fee to an alternative class. If you cancel a stand alone class we will refund on the following basis:
- Over 21 days prior to the class a 75% refund
- 14 – 21 days prior to the class a 50% refund
- if less than 14 days prior to the class we regret that there will be no refund.
