Returns Policy

We hope you’ll love your purchase, but if something isn’t right we’re here to help.

Return Window

Our policy lasts 14 days from the date you received your order. After this time we can’t offer a refund or exchange.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Unused and in the same condition you received them.

  • In their original packaging.

  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (your order confirmation or receipt).

Exclusions

  • Fabric cut to order – cannot be returned unless faulty.

  • Digital downloads – non-refundable once downloading has started.

  • Sale items – unfortunately cannot be refunded.

Partial Refunds

We may issue partial refunds in situations such as:

  • Books or patterns with obvious signs of use.

  • Items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you by email of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within a few working days.

  • Please note it may take some time for your bank or card provider to post the refund to your account.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange for the same item, email us at villagefabrics@live.co.uk.

Customers are responsible for the cost of return postage unless the item is faulty. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If returning an item over £50, we recommend using a tracked/insured service.
