Rotary Cutters allow you to cut pieces quickly and accurately without have to make templates. You can cut several layers of fabric at one time. It is great for cutting through wadding and to trim the edges of a quilt before adding the binding.

Olfa have been making Rotary Cutters since 1956 they are the original and we think the best. They are made in Japan and come in different sizes; 28mm, 45mm and 60mm.
All the sizes have their uses, we use the 45mm most often, but the 60mm is useful for going through materials that are a bit thicker such as felt, tweed or some waddings.
The small 28mm is useful when cutting curves or doing miniature work.
