Explore a beautiful Japanese-inspired patchwork technique in this relaxed workshop. Using your own choice of fabrics, you’ll create a distinctive folded block that combines clean structure with soft, sculptural detail.
This versatile design can be used in all sorts of projects from quilts and bags to cushions and table runners making it a great skill to add to your sewing repertoire. You’ll be guided step-by-step in a friendly, supportive setting, with plenty of time to experiment with colour and pattern to suit your personal style.
Suitable for confident beginners and beyond, this class is a lovely opportunity to slow down, enjoy the process, and leave with a unique piece you can build on at home.

Booking Information:
🧵Class fees are payable when booking, as this confirms your place in the class.
🧵Please come a bit earlier to settle yourself in and meet your classmates.
🧵Free parking is available outside.
🧵All of our classes take place at our studio, every student has their own workstation.
🧵Tea and coffee are available all day and please bring your own cup!
Cancellation Information:
Here are the boring bits, if we need to cancel a class we will issue you with a full refund, or you may transfer your fee to an alternative class. If you cancel a stand alone class we will refund on the following basis:
- Over 21 days prior to the class a 75% refund
- 14 – 21 days prior to the class a 50% refund
- if less than 14 days prior to the class we regret that there will be no refund.
