Create a striking snowflake block while learning the accuracy and precision of foundation piecing in this full-day workshop with Yvonne.

Working step by step, Yvonne will show you how to build up the different sections of your snowflake before bringing them together to create the finished design. It’s a brilliant technique for achieving those lovely sharp points and more intricate shapes that can be tricky with traditional piecing.

You can make your snowflake completely your own by choosing your favourite fabrics and colour scheme — keep it crisp and wintry in blues and whites, go traditional for Christmas, or choose something entirely different.

Please note: fabric is not included in the class price. You are welcome to bring suitable fabrics from home or choose from our fabric collection in the shop at an additional cost.

You will need to bring:

• Your sewing machine
• Your usual sewing kit
• Fabrics, if you would like to bring your own

Tea and coffee will be available throughout the day.
