The iconic William Morris “Strawberry Thief” design has been reimagined by Linda Earl in this delightful representation of the naughty bird and the strawberries. The birds and leaves just pop against the dark blue background. The William Morris designed fabrics add to the authenticity of the overall design.
Created using machine appliqué and hand embroidery this project is going to be suitable for the confident quilter. It would be possible to needle turn the appliqué.
The kit contains the cotton fabrics to complete the front of the wall hanging, including the binding, detailed instructions, full size templates and layout diagram.
Also available as just a pattern.
