Got a fabric panel you love but no idea what to do with it? Bring it along to our Panel Parade session and let’s turn it into a plan.

This is a more relaxed, tuition-style workshop rather than a set project. You’ll bring along a panel you’re stuck with, and Yvonne will help you look at the design, colours and scale and come up with ideas for how you could use it.

You might decide to add borders, build in patchwork blocks, turn it into a wall hanging, lap quilt, cushion or something completely different. The aim is to help you get past that “I love it, but I don’t know what to do with it” stage and leave with a clear direction — and, importantly, get started.

There’s no need to have a finished design in mind before you arrive. In fact, that’s the whole point! Bring your panel, your ideas if you have any, and we’ll work out a cunning plan together.

Please bring:

  • A fabric panel you’d like help with
  • Your sewing machine
  • Your usual sewing kit
  • Any coordinating fabrics you already have, if you’d like to use them

Additional fabrics can also be chosen from the shop if needed.

This session is best suited to those with some basic sewing experience, as the focus will be on planning and beginning your own individual project rather than following one set pattern.

Booking Information:

🧵Class fees are payable when booking, as this confirms your place in the class.
🧵Please come a bit earlier to settle yourself in and meet your classmates.
🧵Free parking is available outside.
🧵All of our classes take place at our studio, every student has their own workstation.
🧵Tea and coffee are available all day and please bring your own cup! 

Cancellation Information:

Here are the boring bits, if we need to cancel a class we will issue you with a full refund, or you may transfer your fee to an alternative class. If you cancel a stand alone class we will refund on the following basis:

  • Over 21 days prior to the class a 75% refund
  • 14 – 21 days prior to the class a 50% refund
  • if less than 14 days prior to the class we regret that there will be no refund.
