Create a wonderfully festive decoration while learning one of Yvonne’s favourite techniques — folded patchwork.
In this workshop, Yvonne will guide you through the construction of this clever folded Christmas tree, building up the design section by section to create its lovely layered effect. Finished with little candle details and a decorative base, it makes a striking handmade decoration to bring out each Christmas.
This class is suitable for anyone with a little previous sewing experience. You don’t need to have tried folded patchwork before, but you should be comfortable using your sewing machine and following basic sewing instructions.
You’re welcome to bring fabrics from your own stash and create your tree in your favourite Christmas colours, or kits will be available to purchase separately if you’d prefer a coordinated selection ready to use.
You will need to bring:
- Your sewing machine
- Your usual sewing kit
- Your chosen fabrics, unless purchasing a kit
Tea and coffee will be available during the class.

Cancellation Information:
Here are the boring bits, if we need to cancel a class we will issue you with a full refund, or you may transfer your fee to an alternative class. If you cancel a stand alone class we will refund on the following basis:
- Over 21 days prior to the class a 75% refund
- 14 – 21 days prior to the class a 50% refund
- if less than 14 days prior to the class we regret that there will be no refund.
