The quilt in the featured image brought back memories of my trip to Japan with the hand stitched representations of the folded peace cranes.
As always the whole event was greatly enhanced by the talented, friendly quilters we met. Another interesting quilt was this Frank Lloyd Wright inspired design. Especially after the trip to the Frist Art Exhibition housed in the former post office building that had been built in the 1930s.
Grand Ole Opry tonight, yes more rain forecast, seems to be something of a theme running through this holiday.
