Village Fabrics, founded in 1981 is the oldest quilt shop in Oxfordshire, and one of the first patchwork and quilting shops in the UK. We are located in Wallingford, a beautiful,  market town on the River Thames, near Oxford and Henley. We are open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday, except on bank holidays.  Come see our enormous variety of patchwork cottons, Husqvarna sewing machines and other specialist quilting accessories, waddings and books.  Also visit our permanent Christmas room with seasonal fabrics, advent calendars and panels. Our fabrics include Moda, Marcus Brothers, Hoffman and Kona Bay as well as an extensive collection of 1930s prints and batiks.  We also carry Simplicity patterns and Curtain Express "ready made" curtains.
