JULY

Explore Stencil Designing with Liz Brown

Come along and be inspired to create your own bespoke stencilled designs, which you can use later perhaps for a cushion or quilt. Liz will give you the confidence, and some top tips, to produce several beautiful pieces. The fabric paints will be available on the day. Tuesday 5th July £25

Strippy Quilt Workshop with Joan Nuttall

Spend two days designing and marking up this strippy quilt. As you need to plan first then sew you can go on to complete this quilt after the workshop at your leisure.

You will require your sewing machine for these classes. Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th July £48

Beautiful Appliquéd Basket with Gaynor Eldridge

This is a delightful small fabric basket (21cm x 11cm x 11cm). Gaynor has appliquéd delightful flowers on her sample and machined quilted the lid and base. Come and be inspired. You will require your sewing machine for these classes. Dates: Friday 22^nd & Saturday 23^rd July £48

Scrappy Quilts with Sheila Wilkinson

Tips and hints on how to use up your bits and bobs, with very satisfying results. You will require your sewing machine for these classes.

Exploring Polymer Clay with Jo Blenkinsop

Back by popular demand! Enjoy a day exploring this amazing medium. Create stunning beads or use your new found skills to create a small frame. Come along and enjoy.

Design with a Curve - Virginia Walton

Happily Virginia is again visiting us from the US and leading these exciting design classes. The starting point will be a traditional block which will then be ‘twiddled’, a curve will then be added and then seams removed. The magic will continue when these manipulated blocks are arranged into a quilt top. More details to follow and a sample will be available in the shop late May. You will require your sewing machine for these classes. Saturday 20^th & Sunday 21^st August. £65.00

Free Motion Quilting with Sheila Wilkinson
